| Nirvana Grille is a quaint California Bistro which began in the heart of Mission Viejo. Since March of 2008, Nirvana Grille has expanded to now include its' newest location in the heart of beautiful downtown, Laguna Beach. For Seven Years Nirvana functioned as a Full Service Catering Company, with services still available today through either restaurant location and off-site throughout Orange County. The newest mention to the Nirvana Family is the addition of Lindsay and Luis' first child. Diego was born on July 8th, 2008, our new restaurateur and chef in training! The name was chosen to evoke the feeling of harmony in mind, body and spirit. From the casual elegance of our dining rooms, to the soft lighting and glowing candles, we strive to bring delicious food delivered with impeccable service. At Nirvana Grille, our 'clean' California cuisine offers a uniquely fresh menu that allows the exceptional quality of ingredients to take center stage. Our philosophy begins at the local level, working closely with area growers and purveyors to ensure that we can source organic produce, natural meats, wild fish and free-range chicken are of the highest quality when possible. Our fare consists of American, French & Asian influences. Graced with the honor of being named one of the ‘Great Chef’s of Orange County’ for the celebration of Food and Wine at the Balboa Bay Club, one of the 'Top 10 Chef's in Orange County Under 40' as well as featured on the front cover of OC Metro Magazine, and recently chosen as one of the Roosters Foundations’ ‘Culinary Masters’, the celebrated executive chef Lindsay Smith- Rosales, 30 is dedicated to healthy organic ingredients that delight and engage the senses. Chef Smith- Rosales and Luis Rosales, have received numerous accolades for their community restaurant in its’ first year of business in magazines such as AAA Westways Lifestyle as 'The Top of the Must Recommend List' and Orange Coast Magazine, which list Nirvana Grille in the Publisher's Hall of Fame as ‘House Picks of Orange County'. The Food Writer of OC Metro magazine, raves…. “flavors don’t have to be powerful to be palate- thrilling. The combination of citrus and tomato, together with the very lean and plump tenderloin, delicately seared, was sublime”.
